The Essex Street Pedestrian Mall offers a wonderful travel experience
with shops, art galleries, boutiques and restaurants set in a
beautifully restored historic, brick-dominated setting. Here, you also
will also find the Peabody Essex Museum, a world class cultural
institution dedicated to New England art, architecture and maritime
art. Fun!

Restaurants like the Lobster Shanty not only serve fantastic
seafood but also reflect the growing, impressive downtown Salem dining
scene. Yummy!
The
Thursday Salem Farmers Market is one of the best around, offering
fruits, veggies and more from local businesses. Vibrant!
