Visit Massachusetts Travel Attractions For Free With Highland Street Foundation’s Free Fun Fridays

This is a heads-up on one of the most generous free offers we have ever come across at the Thrifty New England Traveler…
The Newton, Mass.-based Highland Street Foundation will be kicking off its Fun Free Fridays on July 1, 2011, inviting Massachusetts tourists and visitors to visit cultural attractions, statewide, for free, on Fridays throughout the summer. Already impressive last year, Fun Free Fridays has expanded its list of attractions for the summer of 2011.
“The overwhelming response to the Free Fun Fridays program the past two years inspired us so much that we wanted to do even more this year,” said Blake Jordan, Executive Director of the Highland Street Foundation. “To see thousands of families take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities Boston and the state has to offer is very rewarding and we are glad that we could include even more destinations this summer.
The Highland Street Foundation contributes to a great number of varied charitable causes in Massachusetts. We highly recommend checking out its noble mission by logging onto the Highland Street Foundation Web Site.
