New Hampshire Farmers Markets 2011

The New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets and Food has compiled a tremendous list of farmers markets in New Hampshire for 2011.

Visiting a farmers market in New Hampshire is a wonderful, and often affordable, way to buy local products including fresh produce,  meats, maple, dairy products, baked goods, flowers and crafts.  I have been to many farmers markets through the years in New England and have always loved the regional accents offered in the six states. New Hampshire is no exception (my favorites are the maple products as well as the fresh strawberries in June). In addition to purchasing great local products that help support local business, you get to visit some beautiful New Hampshire towns — my personal favorites on the farmers markets list  being the charming small towns and cities like Exeter, Littleton, Henniker, New Boston, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Rye and Wolfeboro.

Enjoy these New Hampshire farmers markets, and please feel free to share your experiences with us!
