Enchanted Village Holiday Display Reopens at Jordan’s Furniture Avon, Nov. 11

We’re looking forward to the Enchanted Village Christmas holiday display reopening on Nov. 11 at Jordan’s Furniture at 100 Stockwell Ave. in Avon, Mass. This New England tradition, started in the 1960s by the now closed Jordan Marsh department store in Boston, was revived by Jordan’s Furniture (no relation to Jordan Marsh) in 2009. Jordan’s Furniture Avon’s Enchanted Village features 59 holiday mechanical figurines and 18 vignettes — originally made by a Bavarian toy maker — that we remember so well from the legendary Jordan Marsh days.

For those that grew up in the Boston area, Enchanted Village was indeed one of those landmark magical holiday traditions — so nice that the creative, innovative and intuitive folks at Jordan’s had the vision to bring this special Boston area attraction back to life.

Here are the hours of operation starting Friday, Nov. 11, according to the Jordan’s Furniture Enchanted Village Web Page:

Hours of Operation starting Friday November 11:

Monday–Friday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
