The Amazing Keene Pumpkin Festival Returns Oct. 20, 2012

The Keene Pumpkin Festival will have you saying “‘Orange’ you glad we came here?”
As one of the more unusual fall events in New England, the annual Keene Pumpkin Festival features a tower of pumpkins and thousands of pumpkins at street level. At night, the downtown scene is truly spectacular with nearly 30,000 votive candles illuminating the night — and, of course, the pumpkins! A road race, children’s pumpkin parade, pumpkin bowling, entertainment, a food and craft court, 45-ft. high Ferris wheel, and a pumpkin dump (clean-up) derby are just some of the fun things going on in this quintessential New England downtown on this very special fall day.
The 2012 Keene Pumpkin Festival will take place from noon to 8: 30 p.m. Log onto the Keene Pumpkin Festival Web Site at http://pumpkinfestival2011.org for more information.
