What better time to see the Boston Celtics than during this amazing time in Celtics history — the best we’ve seen since the Larry Bird era? With four future hall-of-fame players — Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and “Shaq” (and Rajon Rondo if he plays the way he does for several more years)– the chance to see “team” basketball at its finest is so apparent. Passing and general unselfishness make the Celtics so refreshing to watch — and the team concept is amazing as all of its stars are willing to sacrifice their stats for team play. Additionally, with center Kendrick Perkins back and a terrific bench (“Big Baby” Davis, Marquis Daniels, Nate Robinson, etc.), the intensity never lets up. Coach Doc Rivers has, no doubt, masterfully coached the team, clearly communicating his vision and game plan so well with the entire team.
