Cookbook Sale at Newbury College Library, Brookline, Mass.
Just got word from Marc at HiddenBoston.com that the Newbury College Library at 129 Fisher Ave. in Brookline, Mass., (near Cleveland Circle) is selling used cookbooks at very low prices. He reports the selection is vast and that there are a great variety of cookbooks for sale — not just your average, garden variety cookbooks.
The books were given to Newbury College by a collector with many of the publications in good shape, according to a Newbury College Library staffer. The chance to find one-of-a-kind cookbooks is definitely there for the public! The book sale runs through Feb 19, 2011. The library is open Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. -p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. The library is closed Saturdays.
