Unique Cape Cod: The Eastham Windmill

The sight of the Eastham Windmill at the town common on Route 6 in Eastham, Mass., is not your standard Cape Cod beach and lobster scene, but it’s certainly eye-catching and, ultimately, a must-see travel attraction on the outer part of the Cape. This unique Cape attraction is quite old, built in 1680 with renovations made along the way. The Eastham Windmill Weekend festival takes place here, annually, the first weekend after Labor Day Weekend, but, otherwise, the scene here is quiet — an ideal place for maybe a picnic or short stroll. Book a hotel room in Eastham at the lowest available rate
