February Showers Bring Mayflowers in Plymouth MA

The New England weather can play tricks on our favorite summer attractions, as evidenced here by this winter pilgrimage to the Mayflower II and the angry, gray sea on a showery, foggy, February day.

Just as we were about to scream “Bring on spring!” after a long, cold snowy winter, scenes like this remind us of the different but wonderful personalities the New England seasons offers — even in the difficult depths of February.

Yes, Plymouth certainly did not offer its memorable carefree, sunny summer breeze that day, but that’s OK, this scene provided special memories of its own.
