It’s always sad to leave Cooperstown, N.Y. after a refreshing vacation there but this view of Springfield and Cherry Valley on the way back home serves as a wonderful lingering memory of the region.

The wide-open fields, lush green grass, meticulously landscaped farmland, gentle rolling hills… it’s simply awe-inspiring. Simplicity can often serve as the greatest travel sight. This spot in Springfield and Cherry Valley confirms that.

Located on the east side of Route 20 about 20 minutes from Cooperstown, this scene represents rural Upstate New York at its finest. Isn’t it so beautiful?
