We try to eat healthfully, but the handmade fried potato chips at the Red Arrow Diner in Manchester and Milford, N.H., were, well, let’s just say a weak moment for us…
Last time we checked, this delicious, ample side order was just $1.50. Of course, the fried potato chips are just the beginning at the Red Arrow, a famous household diner name in New Hampshire, in business since 1922. This is a great place to go for an inexpensive meal, including pancakes, waffles, burgers, chicken fried steak, pork pie, club sandwiches and chili. Many dinners here are still under $10!
I felt kind of guilt writing this post — just looking at these potato chips put 10 pounds on me. In the name of fair and balanced reporting, perhaps we’ll write a post soon on the best cheap tofu in New England!
