Sam Adams Brewery, at 30 Germanina St. in Boston, Mass., offers free tours of its facility for those 21 and older. Here, you can learn about the brewery process from start to finish — as well as being educated on the company’s history.  Much to the delight of visitors, you can sample the one-of-a-kind malts used to brew Samuel Adams beers as well as smell the Hallertau hops. The tour lasts about an hour.  Although free, there is a suggested donation of $2.00 — this benefits local charities.

For hours, directions, special events and closings, please call (617) 368-5080. Log onto the Sam Adams Web Site for more details.
