Elisabeth’s in Fairhaven, Mass., is not exactly a cheap eats restaurant, but for lunch you’ll have a chance to dine upscale for for around $10-14.
Tucked away in the quaint Fairhaven downtown district a block from the picturesque waterfront, Elisabeth’s features some nice daily seafood specials. I was quite impressed with the bay scallops in a pesto cream sauce with asparagus and risotto — absolutely delicious taste, great portion and at a price that might be half of what you’d pay at a similar Boston restaurant.
Elisabeth’s has a hometown atmosphere with a counter, plain tables, and an open kitchen that belies the high-end seafood, steaks, drinks and homemade desserts that come out this New Bedford area restaurant for lunch and dinner. It’s a nice, relaxing place where you’ll feel even more relaxed by taking advantage of those daily lunch specials!
Elisabeth’s is located at 1 Middle St. in Fairhaven MA. Tel. (508) 993-1712
