More Reader Feedback on Free Boston Attractions

Share this New England story on

We love it when readers share with us tips on free and inexpensive things to do in New England!  Heather R. recently tipped us on some excellent information about the West End Museum in Boston.  She just recently wrote us back about a Boston museum with free admission…

The Bunker Hill Museum, 42 Monument Square, Charlestown, Mass.,  at the foot of Bunker Hill (across the street from the monument) on the Freedom Trail, is free and has all new exhibits.  After the museum, you can walk over and see the monument and park.   It is free to climb to the top, but it has 294 steps so be prepared!

Thanks so much, Heather! Readers, if you have some great ideas on free and inexpensive things to do in New England, please write us, and we’ll consider your feedback for publication. Thanks!

Editor’s note: You can log onto the National Park Service web site for more information on the Bunker Hill Museum and Bunker Mill Monument.
