Well, in this day of age &#8212; and no matter what age &#8212; people will take any bargain they can get. \u00a0We say, &#8220;Go for the &#8216;Early Bird Specials!'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As faithfuls of 204 Washington in East Walpole, Mass., we not only love the authentic neighborhood restaurant feel in this quiet Walpole neighborhood, but also those &#8220;Early Bird Specials.&#8221; For $10.95, you get a full dinner served with garden salad, potato, vegetable and coffee. \u00a0Dinner selections, at this writing, include broiled scrod, fish and chips, steak tips, chicken terriyaki, chicken marsala and chicken cacciatore. I&#8217;ve had all of these meals (not at one sitting, of course!) and highly recommend&#8230; all of them! \u00a0204 just has a knack of turning out great, unpretentious dinners. Additionally, the atmosphere is just right with a cozy &#8220;local&#8221; \u00a0restaurant\/bar feel. Seems like everyone knows everyone here.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Early Bird Specials&#8221; at 204 Washington are available Monday through Thursday: 4:30 &#8211; 6:00 p.m. \u00a0(entree ordered by 6:00) and\u00a0Friday and Saturday: 4:30- 5:30 p.m. \u00a0(entree ordered by 5:30).<\/p>\n<p>So whether with spiked or blue hair, a fan of Muse or Perry Como, always take advantage of the good deal. Common sense, excellent food, and saving money are always good things!<\/p>\n<p><em>204 Washington is located at, well, 204 Washington St., Walpole, Mass.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Editor&#8217;s note<\/strong>: <em>dinner specials can always change.
