You don’t have to go to Ireland to enjoy a traditional Irish seisiun — best described as a musical gathering session. Right here in the Boston area, the Raven’s Nest Irish pub and restaurant hosts such events on Sundays, starting at 4 p.m. Professional Irish musicians gather along with the community to create some wonderful traditional Irish music — with an occasional American song included. Bring an instrument and join the fun! Admission is free.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere is certainly conducive to these Irish seisiuns, too, as owner Mark McCauliffe restored the space to what he remembers Irish pubs looking like when <\/p>\n\n\n\n
