Prince Pizzeria in Saugus, Mass., has been a staple on the North Shore dining scene since the early 1960s, and with good reason: it’s friendly, affordable, unique looking and serves up outstanding Italian-style pizza and homemade pasta dishes.<\/p>\n

From the huge “Leaning Tower of Pizza” structure outside to the large and colorful dining and function rooms loaded with memorabilia inside, Prince Pizzeria has always created for me an “I want to go there right now” feeling. The late Arthur Castraberti made sure Prince Pizzeria always went beyond the gimmick of the Leaning Tower, making sure the food was always hot, filling and delicious. I remember him as an owner, a waiter, a dish washer and, most importantly, someone who was good to his family, staff and customers. The next generation Castraberti family and staff have made sure that the quality tradition continues. This is a relief as we know so many restaurants that have gone downhill after a change in ownership or management.<\/p>\n
