That&#8217;s a good thing as Federal Jack&#8217;s is hard to pass on, given its outstanding second-floor water views of the Kennebunk River and its location just a few hundred yards from beautiful <a href=\"http:\/\/visitingnewengland.com\/blog-photo-tour\/2012\/01\/27\/scenes-from-kennebunkport-maine-charming-dock-square\/\">Dock Square in Kennebunkport<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We suggest going with a bowl of creamy, flavorful New England clam chowder. It&#8217;s full of clams and is really a meal in itself. The price, at this writing: $7.99. \u00a0Add a club soda with lemon and you&#8217;re around $10.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, you could spend more for a sandwich or full dinner at Federal Jack&#8217;s (and keep in mind this is an outstanding brew pub, too!), but dining on a heaping portion of New England clam chowder for well under $10 just goes to show that you can dine on delicious local fare and still keep your travel budget in mind.<\/p>\n<p><em>Federal Jack&#8217;s<br \/>\n8 Western Ave.<br \/>\nKennebunk Maine<br \/>\nTel.
