Basically, Kathy checks store policies (like if you can combine store coupons with manufacturer coupons) and then enters her chosen store with a pile of coupons. For example, she takes $1 off coupons and buys four separate orders of seafood. If she bought one pound, the coupon, obviously, wouldn’t have worked. Brilliant! In the ABC video, she ultimately bought $267.23 worth of food for a penny!

Remember, you can also employ these measures on a family vacation by going to the local grocery store at your chosen travel destination. But then again, maybe not: with all the money potentially saved on daily food expenses, you might be able to splurge a bit more on your vacation!

Kathy has also published a book, How to Shop for Free: Shopping Secrets for Smart Women Who Love to Get Something for Nothing.
