Sugarloaf \u00a0State Reservation in South Deerfield, Mass., offers a nice, relatively easy scenic hike &#8212; only about a 9\/10 of a mile up the mountain to see spectacular commanding views of the Connecticut River, the Pioneer Valley, and the Pelham and Berkshire Hills.<\/p>\n<p>You could also drive up (for a $2.00 fee), but there might be a wait during the summer and fall seasons, given the limited parking space. Restrooms and drinking water are available at the peak, as well as a picnic area.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Put this one on your list of great late summer, fall foliage season hikes!<\/p>\n<p><em>Editor&#8217;s note: we recommend calling Mt.
