This isn’t just any salad bar, however. Staff arrives at 5 p.m. to prepare about 1,000 lbs of food per day. The 300 items spanning 15 ft. is a spectacular sight, and includes everything from fresh greens and fruit to hummus and various cheeses. Be careful, though: It is tempting to overload your plate and negate any resemblance to healthy eating. On the other hand, some people just put their healthy plans on hold for another day.
