If driving Route 93 in southern New Hampshire and craving pizza, skip the familiar “20 minutes please” order-taking response and head to a place that can cook pizzas in two minutes.<\/p>\n

The Common Man Roadside service center on the south and northbound sides of Route 93 in Hooksett has brilliantly employed a way to expedite the pizza-waiting process through a special, fast-fire oven. What’s more, the two minute pizza tastes pretty darn great!<\/p>\n

“One of the challenges Alex (Ray, owner and founder of The Common Man) talked about was how to make it so people could come in and eat ‘real food, real fast,'” said Bill Boynton, director of public relations and community engagement at Granite State Hospitality\/The Common Man Roadside. “We found a way.”<\/p>\n

This isn’t your basic, generic pre-made pizza. Employees hand-toss the pizzas before the thin-crust pies come out of the special fast-fire oven in the two minutes.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Common Man Roadside travels far beyond just pizza. This service center has become a New Hampshire attraction on its own with its an authentic general store, deli, diner and a League of N.H. Craftsmen gallery store. Also on the premises: a liquor store and, of course, a gas station as well as a bank and a New Hampshire Welcome Center to answer any questions you might have on “The Granite State.”<\/p>\n

Oh, and they also have a separate building with a staff that makes homemade apple cider doughnuts.<\/p>\n
