When in Maine eat like the locals do, especially when it comes to Maine lobster.<\/p>\n

We recently enjoyed twin lobster at a very reasonable price at the Lobster Cove located directly across from Long Sands Beach. The Maine lobster here yielded plenty of tender meat, enhanced, of course, by warm butter on the side. Some lobsters we’ve eaten in Maine had too chewy a taste and not enough lobster meat. Not here. Plus, the indoor and outdoor dining views of Long Sands Beach further add to the York Beach experience that much more.<\/p>\n

Not to sound like Columbo but “Oh, one more thing”: the New England clam chowder is as good as it gets in the region. The thick base, abundance of clams and a full bodied chowder taste is simply fabulous and a great pairing with the Maine lobster.<\/p>\n
