April vacation — it’s come up much quicker than we thought, hasn’t it?<\/p>\n

With warmer weather on the way, the chance to get outside and enjoy the New England spring time will quite simply be a revelation, given the terrible weather we experienced during the winter.<\/p>\n

\nModelers come from all over New England to exhibit at several sites within a stroll of Eel Pond where the American Model Yacht Association conducts radio controlled sailboat races and novices can try a hand at radio controlled sailing. Special exhibits feature America’s Cup Boats and Tugboats. Kids can make a model and float it in the pool. A Beetle Cat sailboat model will be raffled off. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children over 6, $25 for families, and cover both days.

\u201cOut of Sight!\u201d \u2013 an adventure in microscopic explorations<\/strong>
\nActivity for middle-school students and their families, is being held on Wednesday, April 20th from 11 AM to 12:30 PM in the Marine Biological Laboratory\u2019s (MBL) Loeb Laboratory, 18 MBL Street in Woods Hole. It will be a fascinating peek at life under the microscope, as students move from station to station, trying a variety of hands-on experiments, following along in their own observation booklet. This is a free event, sponsored by the MBL Associates.
