Search the web and you’ll find many photos of the most popular streets of the North End, an Italian neighborhood in Boston, Mass. Although we love the great restaurants, shops, tourist attractions and overall character of the main drag (Hanover St.) in the North End, we’ve decided here to show you what many consider to be the authentic part of the North End: in this instance, a narrow side street where people live (and bakeries, restaurants and other businesses have a more low profile feel) and the unrefined look makes one feel more in tune with the real Boston.
