This head-turning historic building once served as a wing of a famous hotel and is now used as a public events venue. Located right by the ocean, the stately structure has also been listed on the prestigious National Register of Historic Places.

Today, the towering historic building serves as a town municipal facility. The building houses events like dance lessons, live music and dancing concerts in the summer, as well as food events. It is also the starting point for trolley tours in the area. The location couldn’t be better for us New England travel lovers — right by a beautiful town beach and an iconic seafood restaurant. Conveniently located sidewalks allow for some wonderful oceanside walks with spectacular views.

It’s The Towers in Narragansett, R.I.!
Constructed between 1883 and 1886, The Towers was designed by famous architects McKim, Mead & White and landscaped by the legendary Fredrick Olmsted. Once part of the former Narragansett Pier Casino resort, the Towers has also gained a reputation as a pillar of strength having survived The Great Fire of 1901 (significant rebuilding did take place) and three hurricanes (1938, 1954 and 1991).
The Towers is located right next to another wonderful landmark: the Coast Guard House Restaurant.
Much like The Towers, the Coast Guard House resonates, too, as a pillar of strength, having survived the three hurricanes. The iconic restaurant also happens to serve some of the best local fresh seafood in southern New England. Additionally, the waterfront location is as appetizing as the local seafood!
