The Wachusett Reservoir in Central Massachusetts is not exactly a classic New England travel destination, but it’s one of those places that you pass along the way and stop to marvel at the amazing scenery. I, along with about 20 other people, parked our cars and walked around to enjoy different perspectives of this sunset from the Clinton, Mass., side of the reservoir. It turned out that this experience was more memorable than the “top story” travel destinations I was covering earlier in the day!
