This one-of-a-kind special place can easily transform the soul. When arriving, you’ll notice something that totally contrasts with the daily routine. Everything is so quiet, the only sounds heard are that from Mother Nature. The birds chirp, squirrels chatter and crunch through the grass and the occasional breeze whirs through the trees. Guests are pretty quiet, too, remaining silent to reflect by the reflective water. It’s a beautiful pond framed first by a light wooden fence and then, more majestically, by trees, hills and mountains.<\/p>\n

So, where is this idyllic retreat?<\/p>\n

It’s the Weston Priory that features a monastery, retreats, and music. Benedictine Monks live here and have done since the Weston Priory formed in 1953. They practice the monastic tradition on a daily basis that centers on the virtues of prayer, manual work, hospitality, peace and justice.<\/p>\n

Locals and travelers come here for as a retreat for daily common prayer or to spend several days in the atmosphere of monastic life. The Weston Priory features a\u00a0 chapel and visitors’ center that reside in unison with the natural surroundings.<\/p>\n
