Yet, the town humbly possesses many treasures: a waterfront with beach, quaint downtown with locally-owned shops and restaurants, a bike trail and one of the last authentic soda fountains in the northeast.<\/p>\n

Hint #1: The town is located in southern New England.<\/p>\n

Hint #2: It’s the smallest town in the smallest county in the smallest state.<\/p>\n

Hint #3: The town was well-known as whaling port and as a shipbuilding center beginning in the 18th century.<\/p>\n

WARREN, RHODE ISLAND!<\/h2>\n

Located between Providence and Newport, R.I., Warren meets the criteria of a “more than meets the eye” type of town. It’s best to park the car, walk the downtown and surrounding areas and take in the travel treasures and gems that saturate the town. From the nostalgic soda fountain presence of Delekta’s (496 Main St.) to the wonderful sunsets at Warren Town Beach, Warren is definitely worth a visit!<\/p>\n
