Pan roasted lobster goes beyond the basic lobster dinner with a taste that is instantly and uniquely memorable.<\/p>\n

At a certain restaurant famous for this creation (more on that place in a moment), the mouthwatering dish starts in the kitchen with bourbon, chervil, chives and warm butter to enhance the lobster taste. Then, the pan becomes saturated with fire to lock in all the flavors. The key, however, is to not overcook!<\/p>\n

When fully prepared, the meal is then brought to the customer with homemade cornbread and locally-sourced corn on the cob. The result: One of the best lobster dishes on the planet. It’s hard not to devour the pan roasted lobster too quickly as the taste is so addictive. The herb flavors, bourbon and butter combined with the tender lobster create a culinary masterpiece.<\/p>\n

So, where can you find this one-of-a-kind dish?<\/p>\n

At Jasper White’s Summer Shack in Cambridge and Boston, Mass., as well as at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.!<\/p>\n

The pan roasted lobster is clearly a signature dish at Summer Shack. Celebrity chef Jasper White first created the dish in 1984 and was Julia Child’s favorite dish, according to Vinny Lombardi, director of operations at Summer Shack in Cambridge and Boston.<\/p>\n

What a brilliant version of a lobster dinner(or lunch) that I can’t recommend enough. The thing is, however, that Summer Shack is so much more than that one dish. They seem to hit a home run with every seafood meal and beyond.
