Although we love the great restaurants, shops, tourist attractions and overall character of the main drag (Hanover St.) in the North End, we&#8217;ve decided here to show you what many consider to be the authentic part of the North End: in this instance, a narrow side street where people live (and bakeries, restaurants and other businesses have a more low profile feel) and the unrefined look makes one feel more in tune with the real Boston.
