The New England weather can play tricks on our favorite summer attractions, as evidenced here by this winter pilgrimage to the Mayflower II and the angry, gray sea on a showery, foggy, February day.<\/p>\n

Just as we were about to scream “Bring on spring!” after a long, cold snowy winter, scenes like this remind us of the different but wonderful personalities the New England seasons offers — even in the difficult depths of February.<\/p>\n

Yes, Plymouth certainly did not offer its memorable carefree, sunny summer breeze that day, but that’s OK, this scene provided special memories of its own.<\/p>\n
