The Coronavirus has resulted in governments setting travel limits but that doesn’t mean you have to limit your travel.<\/p>\n

Look in your own community. The place you live might just offer the ideal spot for peace and solitude — much needed during these stressful times. Some of these places could very well offer what the “doctor ordered” — that is, plenty of space between you and others while enjoying the presence of a local oasis. Think parks, beaches during the offseason, hiking trails and any other local scenic destinations to soothe the senses and soul.<\/p>\n

We need some kind of immediate relief: The fear of catching the virus, constant social media rumors, media frenzy, grocery item hoarding and temporary closing of stores, restaurants and entertainment venues have created lots of overwhelming stress and concerns.<\/p>\n

If you are healthy and looking to take a break from the non-stop 24\/7 world, seek those beautiful local places as a respite from this madness. This is no hostility, anger and fear when connecting with Mother Nature for she has gifted us with healthy escapes in the form of scenery. Go by yourself, with family and a few friends (keeping in mind social distancing recommendations, of course), and get healthy in mind and spirit with that invaluable peace and solitude.<\/p>\n

You can create your own healthy ways during a public health crisis. I pray you all stay well and be good to yourselves during this time of fear and frenzy.<\/p>\n
