Pumpkin Wall - New England My Happy Place Photo of the Day

Fun on the Farm: The Pumpkin Wall at Wilson Farm in Lexington, Mass.

Just as you thought you had seen every form of pumpkin expression during autumn in New England, along comes the pumpkin wall at Wilson Farm in Lexington, Mass.

Wilson Farm typically spends a day constructing this highly-lovable pumpkin display at one if its entrances. It's an annual local favorite attraction that customers and social media influencers frequent to get in that New England autumn state of mind.

Wilson sells more than 40 varieties of pumpkins and ornamental squash -- not to mention apple cider and doughnuts and some of the freshest produce in this area.

I remember when Wilson Farm was a tiny little road stand in the 1960s. Now it is one of the biggest farm stands in the Boston area but without losing that traditional family-owned farm stand appeal that all began in the late 1800s (for the record, I wasn't around then).

File this one under "fun on the farm!"

Wilson Farm is located at 10 Pleasant St. in Lexington, Mass. Tel. 781-862-3900.
