The Beavertail Lighthouse in Jamestown, R.I., stands at the third oldest lighthouse station site in the United States, established in 1749. Although not the prettist New England lighthouse, Beavertail has its own unique charm and resides within Beavertail State Park– one of the most scenic coastal areas in southern New England with walking trails leading to spectacular rocky coastline views.
Enjoy the views here online, but better yet, try to visit this underrated, absolutely beautiful Rhode Island spot.
