Brick Alley Pub and Restaurant, Newport RI

Comfort foods meets multicultural cuisine without any pretentiousness best describes the Brick Alley Pub. Located in the heart of Newport's wonderfully expansive downtown by the sea, the Brick Alley Pub is one of those few restaurants in this city that has a little something for everyone. Crowds lend a bustling atmosphere for lunch and dinner, but the overall ambiance feels more quaint, cozy and charming. This pub that goes beyond the typical pub is definitely one of our favorites in Newport, given its wide offerings, good prices and excellent service. A big plus is you can get a complete meal that includes bread and butter, salad, and side. Many restaurants in this bad economy, have ditched the complete meal, so it's nice to see the Brick Alley Pub offer this value, especially within a tourist town.

Speciality dishes include: Burgers, lobster rolls, littleneck clams, arugula salad pizza, steak tips, chicken parm, baby back pork ribs, New Bedford fisherman schrod, lobster mac and cheese. Brick Alley pub also offers nice beer, gluten free and dessert menus, and a wine list.

Brick Alley Pub is located at 140 Thames St., Newport RI. Tel. (401) 849- 6334
