When planning the Christmas Holiday season in New England, the spectacular Millis Wonderland Christmas holiday display in Millis, Mass., always ends up at the top of our travel wish list. Lately, I’ve been checking into the Millis Wonderland Web Site with frequency to find out the 2011 schedule — kind of like the way a […]

Visiting the Free Cape Cod Canal Bike Trail in November

Published on November 7, 2011December 28, 2015 by Eric Hurwitz

Visiting the Cape Cod Canal Bike Trail in November breaks the old school myth that Cape Cod is only meant for summer travel. If you can catch a good weather day at this time of the year, this free, pretty much level bike trail along the scenic Cape Cod Canal will, no doubt, extend the […]

Located in the heart of a pleasant downtown […]

Long Sands Beach (York Beach, Maine) in the Fall

Published on October 5, 2011January 7, 2022 by Eric Hurwitz

With a chill in the air and a sky that often brings about colors as nice as leaves giving way to fall foliage, Long Sands Beach in York Beach, Maine, is a great place to be during the early autumn season. This spectacular mile and a half of southern coastal Maine beach doesn’t have nearly […]
