Every time while shopping at Hannaford supermarket, I find the total bill to be less than what the outcome is at other area supermarkets. Have you also found this to be true?
I shop somewhere else and it seems like $70 or $75 adds up right away for buying virtually nothing. At Hannaford, the dollar stretches a lot farther and there is usually enough budgeted money left over for non-essentials like chocolate chip cookies or Klondike bars. My many years of grocery shopping validate this money-saving pattern at Hannaford, so whenever possible, this is my go-to place.
It’s nice, too, that this Maine-based supermarket has great seafood and natural foods selections — two staples of our grocery shopping list.
So, for locals — and travelers looking to save money on food by grocery shopping instead of going out to eat — I definitely recommend Hannaford!
