We’re happy to report that the blueberry picking is just fine, at this writing, at Tangerini’s Spring Street Farm in Millis, Mass. While not at peak picking yet, we managed to pick more than a pound of organically fertilized wild blueberries at around $3.00 a pound (per person). At this writing, organically fertilized raspberries are also available for picking.

The 65-acre Tangerini’s Farm has a beautiful location with sprawling farmland and rolling hills — unusual for a suburban Boston location. The sunsets here are simply beautiful.

You’ll also find an abundance plants and floral arrangements for sale in and outside of the 4,000 sq. ft. greenhouse, some farm-fresh produce including organic zucchini, onions and lettuce, a

walking trail, farm animals,  and an ice cream stand featuring Bliss Brother ice cream.

Very well known to locals, Tangerini’s can be considered a true hidden gem for those from outside the area. First-timers are amazed by the beauty and offerings at this family-run farm in Millis — a solid, pleasant small town that also tends to fly under the radar.
