It’s playoff time for the Cape Cod Baseball League (amateur league), so we encourage you to catch a game soon before the season is over.
The Cape Cod League baseball games — played at several stadiums across Cape Cod, Mass. — truly capture the spirit of America’s National Pastime while also serving as a great budget-minded “staycation” activity. Games are free, although we recommend contributing a nominal fee at the games to help this great non-profit cause. With small, intimate, family-oriented stadiums, some of the best collegiate level players from across the country, and, of course, proximity to all the great Cape Cod travel attractions, we highly encourage you to take in a ball game! And who knows, you might be watching a future major leaguer. Some Cape Cod League baseball players that went onto to star in the majors include Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Jacoby Ellsbury, Evan Longoria, Nick Swisher, Mark Teixeira and Kevin Youkilis!
