How to get the “blues” in Natick, Mass.: believe it or not, you can see an amazing, free Bourbon St., Mardi Gras show in a shopping mall-like corridor at Jordan’s Furniture. With lights flashing, smoke surging and animatronic robots paying musical tributes to the spirit of Louisiana, this highly entertaining bluesy presentation features Bourbon St., Mardi elements everywhere you look. You’ll see realistic New Orleans, Bourbon St. facades including living quarters and shops, as well as a life-size riverboat. On the music side, you’ll witness a huge singing Elvis, the Supremes, Louis Armstrong and the Beatles and other famous figures singing the blues at a high decibel rate. It’s hard not to get your feet tapping! We feel that children and adults will all enjoy this colorful, bombastic, fun production that lasts about 15 minutes. It’s certainly one big party in Natick and, oh yes, a fabulous place to shop for furniture!
