If you’d like to reach new heights in visiting a Boston travel attraction, check out the Skywalk Observatory at the Prudential Center.
We visited this amazing attraction a few years back and remember its stunning 360 degree panoramic views of the Greater Boston area from the 50th floor of the Prudential. My all-time favorite view here was Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox — it looked like a miniature toy model from our perspective!
While we found it best to view the various sections of Boston and beyond with just our eyes, one also has the opportunity to learn more about Boston historical and cultural attractions through an audio tour.

We did, however, hesitate to include the Skywalk Observatory on our Thrifty New England Traveler blog because it borders on being, well, not-so-thrifty at $13 a ticket for adults and $9 for kids, at this writing. We think, overall though, that it’s worth the price of admission, given its one-of-a-kind presentation with those incredible views of Boston. One way to save reduce admission price, however, is to bundle the Skywalk Observatory with other Boston attractions through Smart Destinations. You can build your own pass, or see all 70-plus attractions in the Boston area to reduce the price of admissions.
Whatever the case, we think you’ll love seeing the City of Boston from atop — from our view, of course!
