VisitMaine.com (Maine Office of Tourism), recently tipped us that several Maine beaches offer good opportunities for sea glass hunting.

Beaches at Peaks Island in Casco Bay, Fish Beach at Monhegan Island and Mackerel Cove on Bailey Island are “dependable” sea glass destinations, according to VisitMaine.

In addition, Spring Point Beach in South Portland offers lighthouse views, while Lincolnville Beach in Lincolnville and Mowry Beach in Lubec are promising stretches of sand away from crowds, states VisitMaine.
