Did you know that many Maine microbreweries offer free tours and tastings during the summer? With more than 80 breweries on the Maine Beer Trail that make New England IPAs, English ales, stouts, porters, sours, Belgian ales, farmhouse ales, goses, gruits and crisp lagers, this is a great way to take a close-up view at the process as well as sample brews at these locally-owned, tourist friendly businesses.

Log onto the Maine Brewers Guild for more info on Maine microbreweries, including touring schedules.

Thanks to VisitMaine for tipping us on this tasty bit of information!
