The 2012 apple picking season has ended at The Big Apple farm in Wrentham, Mass., but the crowds are still packing the place.
We just returned from The Big Apple and wall-to-wall people stood in line at the farm stand to buy bags of apples, as well as pumpkins, fresh vegetables, apple cider, apple cider donuts, and homemade pies. The Big Apple is also famous for its wagon rides, ice cream stand and the viewing platform where you can see apples being sorted through the apple grader.
Nice to see this 200-acre working farm that has been in business since 1950 thriving in a down economy!
The Big Apple is located at 207 Arnold St., Wrentham, Mass. Tel. (508) 384-3055
