The Lighting of the Green and Lights On Festival in Taunton, Mass. will take place Sat., December 7, 2019, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the historic Taunton Green. The event features live entertainment, kids’ activities, fireworks, and, of course, the beautiful holiday lights.  If you can’t make it, don’t worry — the lights will be on throughout the month of December!

Since 1914, the historic, one-acre Taunton Green has brought in more than 2,000,000 people to take in the incredible Lighting of the Green and other holiday decorations. Well known to locals but virtually unknown to New England travelers, the Christmas City scene is truly a spectacular scene worth visiting — and conveniently located, only 45 minutes from Boston MA and about a half-hour from Providence RI.

Taunton is certainly one of New England’s “bright lights” when it comes to downtown Christmas displays!
