Hard to believe that only 20 minutes from bustling downtown Boston, Mass., is the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Blue Hills Reservation with 125 miles of trails over 7,000 acres from Quincy to Dedham and Milton to Randolph.
With 635-ft. In the warmer season, you’ll find boating, camping, fishing, golf, plenty of hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and softball opportunities. Use of all the trails is free, and the Reservation is open from dawn to dusk.
The 22 hills within the Reservation indeed offer lots of fun. With its close proximity to Boston, we recommend that visitors as well as locals that have not been yet take full advantage of this recreational oasis so close to the city known as the “Hub of the Universe!
