What kind of photos can I submit?
Anything related to New England travel. Some ideas include:
Beaches (ocean and lakes)
Mountain scenes
Your favorite seafood shack and other restaurants
City scenes
Family-friendly destinations and attractions
Your hometown
Hotels, motels, inns, bed and breakfasts and resorts
Campgrounds
Events including public parades, festivals, celebrations
Hikes
Parks
Holiday travel photos (examples: Kennebunkport, Maine tree lighting ceremony, Plimoth Plntation at Thanksgiving, 4th of July Celebration Bristol, R.I., etc.)
Hidden New England — the road less taken
What geographical regions can be included?
Anywhere in the New England states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont!
What file sizes are preferred for submitted photos?
We prefer under 1 MB per submitted photograph. Please send no more than four photos per email message.
What additional information should be provided?
In an email, with your photo(s) attached, please provide us with the following information:
1. Your Name (can be initials, if you prefer)
2. Photo Title
3. Photo Location (Country & City/Town/Village etc.)
4. Your Contact Information
5. Short description or article to accompany the photo (s) (optional)
We always appreciate, in photo submissions, the “who, what, where and when!”
Will I be compensated for my photos?
At this time, we do not offer compensation, but you do have the opportunity to promote your work by leveraging our Web Site. You can include, if you like, contact information and a link to your photo/travel-related Web Site. We respectfully adhere to Google’s paid link policy Google’s Paid Link Guidelines, so we need to place a “no follow” tag on the link to your web site.
Terms & Conditions
The photographer will maintain copyright of every photo that they submit to The Great New England Photo Travel Tour at VisitingNewEngland.com.
VisitingNewEngland.com will not “re-market” your photographs elsewhere without permission of the photographer.
