Northeast Harbor, Maine, Offers a Relaxing Travel Getaway

Northeast Harbor, Maine, is a quaint, little community located about 15 minutes from beautiful Acadia National Park, Maine, on Mt. Desert Island. I prefer staying in Northeast Harbor when vacationing at Acadia National Park because the feeling is quiet, relaxing and isolated than Bar Harbor — in another words, an ideal travel getaway. Even with that solitude, the downtown section has a nice mix of shops, a locally-run grocery store and a few places to eat. It’s a nice place to stroll and gets even better with just a few minute’s walk to the harbor….

The hills, the harbor, the pleasing downtown and proximity to Acadia will have you coming back. I know, it has been that way for me the past 40 years! Book a room in Northeast Harbor at the lowest available rate
