Good lobster rolls are easy to find in New England, great ones much more difficult to come across.
A few weeks ago on our way to York Beach, Maine, we stopped by Warren’s Lobster House in Kittery, Maine for some lobster rolls. Good decision!
Like always, Warren’s served amply served, tasty lobster rolls. The tender, flavorful lobster meat tasted like it was just brought in from the ocean and prepared immediately. That could have very well been the case as Warren’s has its own lobster storage facility, holding 28 tons of Maine lobster on the premises!
Additionally, the warm butter on the side and a tasty bun helped make the lobster rolls taste that much better. And very little filler, always a good thing.
Warren’s has been around since 1940 which is no surprise. It’s a friendly place with a big dining room, outdoor seating with water views and a huge seafood menu (and when there’s no pandemic, an impressive 60-plus item salad bar). That’s about all we need to smile and satiate the appetite when dining out at a seafood restaurant in New England!
